Samsa & Jerry Schoendorf

Greg Samsa is the director of graduate studies in Duke’s department of biostatistics and bioinformatics, and one of his intellectual interests is in deconstructing the art of statistical practice into components that can be studied scientifically. A father of 5, he keeps busy as a middle school soccer coach.

Jerry Schoendorf is a retired medical illustrator and anaplastologist who worked at Duke University and later in private practice in Durham, North Carolina. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where he stays busy doing free-lance illustration, beekeeping, and making teapots.
