Deborah Currelly lives with her husband John in rural Bois d’Avril, Haiti, where they are trying to cultivate an organic farm and sponsor a school they founded for the children of subsistence farmers. The Currellys, originally from Canada, have been in Haiti since they moved there in 1981 to live as Bahá’ís and have grown to love it and to consider it home.
