Andrew Blake has been a horticulturist for over 40 years, working in the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Born in Scotland, he lives in Albany, West Australia. He and his Portuguese wife both worked at the Baha'i World Centre in Israel for 6 years. Andrew says: "I am grateful for the questions of a landscape architect in Romania about these gardens, which provided the inspiration for this article."
