Augusto Lopez Claros is an international development economist with over 30 years of experience in international organizations, including the International Monetary Fund, The World Economic Forum, and most recently the World Bank. Over the past 25 years, he has lived and worked in Moscow, London, Geneva, Madrid, and Washington in a number of roles. He has lectured at some of the world’s leading international organizations, universities, and think tanks and has written extensively on a broad range of issues. His two most recent books are Equality for Women = Prosperity for All (St. Martin’s Press, 2018, with B. Nakhjavani) and Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century (Cambridge University Press, 2020, with A. Dahl and M. Groff).
