Emily Baldoni was born and raised in Uppsala, Sweden, where she discovered her love for acting at an early age. Her guest appearances on TV include Mob City, CSI, Mad Men, Crash, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, and Major Crimes. She has appeared in recurring roles on Legend of the Seeker and Reckless and most recently on the CW’s Jane the Virgin. Emily has also appeared in features such as Ghosts of Girlfriends Past alongside Matthew McConaughey and as the female lead in the critically acclaimed sci-fi hit, Coherence. In addition to her acting career, Emily has been using her tools to lay a positive foundation in the hearts of women and girls all over the world. She has volunteered with the LIDE’ foundation, founded by fellow actor Rainn Wilson and author Holiday Reinhorn, by teaching the art of self expression to girls in remote villages in Haiti. Emily also helped create the first ever Carnival of Love with her husband on Skid Row which in only it’s second year has served over 2500 homeless and brought out well over one thousand volunteers to bring a day of love and happiness to one of the darkest areas in the country. Finally, she has recently joined the organization Children of the Night, providing support through the arts to young girls who have been victims of sex trafficking in LA.
