Heather Harvey became a member of the Baha’i Faith in university, but over forty years later continues to see each day as an opportunity to learn something new in the vast ocean of Baha’i teachings as well as the diverse areas of knowledge in the world, including the arts. She is looking forward to her third retirement this summer! In her first career she was an elementary school teacher for over thirty years, and in her second served the vibrant Ottawa Baha’i community as manager of their busy centre and bookstore for almost eleven. For her third career she plans to work on writing, especially her book in progress “Winnifred Harvey and the Beginnings of the Baha’i Faith in Ottawa.”
