Hooper Dunbar is a Baha’i author and artist. His abstract paintings explore the landscape of the inner self, as does his book Forces of Our Time – The Dynamics of Light and Darkness, both of which inspired this series of essays. Recently retired from 22 years of service as a member of the Universal House of Justice in Haifa, Israel, Hooper and his wife Maralynn now live and work in northern California.
