Jim Barnes grew up in Wisconsin as an Episcopalian. By the time he was twelve he learned about the Baha'i Faith and became a member at fifteen. He started his radio career at eighteen. In 1999 he began thirteen years of service at the Baha'i National Center in the United State. Part of that service included working with the Baha'i owned Radio Station WLGI. Today Jim lives in Florida and is engaged in growing the audience for MyStar95.com. A faith based contemporary online radio station.
