Manijeh was born and raised in a Baha'i family in Tehran, Iran. She received her DDS and specialty in Children Dentistry from Tehran University.
In 1979, because of the systematic and unrelenting persecution of the Baha'is in Iran by the Islamic revolution, she left Iran.
Settling in Europe, she lived in Northern Ireland and in London. Eventually, she came to the United States of America to pursue her education and profession. She has practiced Children Dentistry for twenty-eight years in Wisconsin and has taught at Waukesha Technical College as a supervising dentist for sixteen years.
Her passion in life, along with millions of people, is to work for the "Oneness of Humanity," the cardinal principle of the Baha'i Faith.
She and her husband offer a weekly gathering at their home open to every seeking heart for meaningful and uplifting conversation.
Her book 'Prompts of the Heart, Prose and Poetry' was published in 2023. Some of her writings appeared on reedsy.com and medium.com. She lives with her husband, Robert Malouf, a published poet, in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
