Mouzoon

Melanie Mouzoon M.D. is a pediatrician with particular interests in immunizations, neonatal care and breastfeeding medicine. She graduated from Rice University in 1977, where she became a member of the Bahá’í Faith in 1974, and received her medical degree in 1982 from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School, where she also completed her Pediatrics residency. She worked at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic for 39 years before retiring in 2024.  She is active in youth and adult education both within the Bahá’í community and more broadly.
