Merryl Hammond, PhD is a Baha’i and a public health consultant from Montreal, Canada who recently published a memoir, Mad Like Me: Travels in Bipolar Country to help people better understand what it’s like to live with a mental illness. The book and ebook are available worldwide through Amazon and other suppliers, and her website (merrylhammond.com) includes video clips and media interviews about the topic. She’s planning a follow-up anthology project featuring writings from fellow bipolar patients, their family members and friends, and health care providers.
