Rochester

Michael Rochester is University Research Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Earth Sciences and Physics at Memorial University of Newfoundland, with research interests in the theory of the dynamics of the Earth as a planet, particularly as affected by its large liquid iron core. Born in Toronto, Michael joined the Baha'i community in 1952 and has served on various elected and appointed administrative bodies including the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Canada (1963-92). He and his wife, Elizabeth Manser, have 3 children and 2 granddaughters.
