Navid Pourmokhtari (PhD) teaches Political Science at the University of Alberta and Grant MacEwan University. His research interests lie in the areas of international relations and comparative politics, with a special focus on international peace and security studies, revolutionary movements, and feminist studies. His most recent publications have appeared in Third World Quarterly, Jadaliyya, Sociology of Islam, the Journal of Legal Pluralism and Critical Social Analysis, the Journal of Human Trafficking, Foucault Studies and the Journal of International Women’s Studies. Pourmokhtari is also the author of Iran’s Green Movement: Everyday Resistance, Political Contestation and Social Mobilization (2021), published by Routledge.
