Dr. Ray Zimmerman is an English professor at Saddleback College in Orange County, CA where he teaches English Composition, Humanities, and British Literature. His doctoral research concerned masculinity, violence, and militarism in 20th century American literature. A licensed mediator, he also serves as an advisory board member for Chapman University's Interfaith Center. He has been a Baha'i since 1993 and is currently the Secretary of the Baha'i community of Orange, CA. In 2004, he received an NAACP award for education.
