Excellent talk! In a letter written on behalf of the Guardian it states that often in time we look back at a situation we thought was awful at the time but now we see the test was a benefit to us!

Yes, unforgiveness is like drinking poison yourself and waiting for the other person to die ~ and forgiveness is the key to unlock the thousand doors of the egoic mind and unwind it back to God, into the infinite freedom, joy and love of the Spirit and Divine Presence. The Prophet called the spiritual Way  ”tazkiyah al-nafs” meaning “purification of the self”  or the “purification of the (spiritual) heart”. Every true religion is a system of purifying our inner self to become mirrors of spiritual excellence and light.
