I was born and raised in Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta to attend medical school. It was during my time in Atlanta that I became a Baha'i and met my wife, Maria, who was in med school with me. We have 2 children who we have raised in South Carolina and where we currently live. I am a practicing physician and have my own internal medicine medical practice.

We seem better able to cope with the world and to find our sphere of usefulness.
