Désirée Akhavan is an attorney and Co-Founder of Lazeez, a paleo baking business based in New York City. She is also a member of Ethical Business Building the Future and the Advisory Board of the Mona Foundation, a global NGO that promotes universal education and gender equality. Désirée is particularly interested in issues of "food as medicine", Corporate Social Responsibility, menstrual inequity, gender equity and girls education.
