How do I become Baha’i?

Edward
Gathercole

Edward Gathercole aka EG, is a creative type, a father, an aspiring writer or word smith, speaker, and advocate. EG has recently discovered the most excellent revelation of the Baha'i Faith. The previously unknown and surprising wellspring of divine guidance aids in his pursuits to create a better life for himself, his daughter, and community. He is currently continuing his education as an older student at Santa Rosa Junior College with a major in communication studies with the aim of transferring to Sonoma State University. He enjoys the art of communication and intends to grow these talents and fortify discipline to better serve and support his community.Largely through undisciplined skill alone he has advocated for disenfranchised youth in his community especially foster youth and maintains a supporting role when possible. He assisted in guiding to healthy fruition a low-income housing program for homeless youth through Social Advocates for Youth (SAY) called Tamayo Village. EG is an Original Founder of VOICES Sonoma, a one stop resource center for youth and predominately staffed by youth. Through speaking engagements he has helped raise money for these organizations as well Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and TLC Child & Family Services (TLC). Through the pages, Bahai's of Sonoma County and Bahai's of Sebastopol he helps manage the local Baha'i social media presence and activities in his area, 50-some-odd-miles north of San Franscico in beautiful Sonoma County. He is constantly encouraged to write through his unique perspective, thus having put the digital pen to virtual paper, he has begun to expand the audience with more to look forward to.
