Mead Simon grew up in Chicago in a Jewish family and began studying Christianity at a young age. After having spent a decade looking at various faiths, Mead become a member of the Baha'i community at 19. He has spent many years since working with various interfaith organizations throughout Canada and the United States, with the aim of helping people of all backgrounds see the common foundation of all faiths. Mead served at the United States Baha'i National Center in Chicago for a number of years before moving to Canada. Currently, Mead is working as an artist and a writer, and can be found in the Multi-faith Chaplaincy Office at the University of Victoria, where he has served since 2011.
