Misha Maynerick Blaise is an author and artist based in Austin, Texas. Her newest book is called This Phenomenal Life: The Amazing Ways We are Connected with Our Universe (Lyons Press, 2017). As an artist, she has partnered with brands such as Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, West Elm, CB2, Oopsy Daisy, Apartment Therapy, and the New York Times Style Magazine. She and her husband are the co-owners of a green building company, and co-creators of two sons. Misha's educational background is in Middle Eastern studies and Conflict Resolution. She has also worked as a youth worker in underserved schools in Chicago before establishing herself as an artist.
