Sandra J. Bean, MPH, PhD, earned a doctorate in public health from Oregon State University. She served at the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa, Israel, and has been an active member of the Baha'i Faith since 1971. She is passionate about social justice and has helped organize two virtual reading groups on racial justice in her community of Corvallis, Oregon.
