Setareh Rouhani, PhD (Cand) is a Research Associate with the Institute for Intersectionality, Research and Policy at Simon Fraser University, and a Research Methodologist with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care at the Ottawa Hospital. Setareh is completing her doctoral degree in Population Health with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Healthcare and Epidemiology from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelors of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Her research areas focus on immigrant and refugee health, women’s health, primary care and health system reform, reducing health inequalities and intersectoral policy action.
